The centralization was intended to increase the efficiency of a global Amazon team compared to the previously established local team. There in the countries: Germany, UK, France, Italy and Spain already had an extensive and well established business with Amazon, it was a challenge to recruit the right person for the role of Amazon Global Account Manager, who on the one hand has the necessary experience in dealing with Amazon, and on the other hand is able to successfully manage a global team without conflict, as well as the transformation from a decentralized Amazon team with resources in the countries to a central Amazon team.
